Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Home Improvement and repair technicians to join our team and help our customer's complete a variety of tasks in their home or place of business. Ideal applicants will be able to complete tasks in a timely manner and to the customer's satisfaction.
The job requires travel to and from customers' homes and businesses, so applicants MUST HAVE A TRUCK OR VEHICLE CAPABLE OF PULLING A 4'x8' TRAILER FOR GATHERING MATERIALS. This is necessary to complete the job tasks for each customer who may not have materials on site already.
Pay range: $25-$35/hr depending on skill set and experience.
Responsibilities:
Technicians will be responsible for completing the customer's requested work accurately and efficiently, writing invoices for completion of the work and collecting payment, and collecting all applicable materials required to complete the job. Technicians will be expected to arrive on time as scheduled with the customer and communicate effectively with both the customer and the main office to ensure the job is completed correctly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in home improvement, maintenance, or construction.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other trades.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team as needed.
- Willingness to work in exterior conditions as well as interior conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to adapt to a wide variety of tasks that play to your strengths, while also growing your skill set in new skill areas.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
