Job Summary - The Vehicle Maintenance Tech supports the facility and vehicle maintenance by executing preventative maintenance, managing tools and inventory, and keeping repair records. Follow preventive maintenance schedules on all building mechanical systems as well as our fleet of vehicles. (Golf Carts, All Landscape Equipment, Trucks, Cars, Vans, Busses, and Tractors etc). Maintain all tools and equipment, including any specialized tools needed for working on fleet of vehicles as described above. Assist in keeping records of vehicle repairs, including dates of repair or PM. Maintain inventory stock and order as needed through the Director of Plant Operations. Document supplies and quantities used on each repair or PM.
Qualifications Include:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Must be able to speak and understand English for effective communications with our residents
- Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 hours per day
