Job Responsibilities
Event Security Officers play an important role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for guests, staff, performers, and athletes.
Duties may include:
- Screening guests at security checkpoints
- Monitoring magnetometer (metal detector) stations
- Conducting bag inspections in accordance with venue policies
- Preventing prohibited items from entering the venue
- Providing directions and customer service to guests
- Assisting with crowd management in seating areas, concourses, and entry gates
- Working field-level, sideline, stage-front, and stadium positions
- Monitoring assigned areas and reporting incidents to supervisors
- Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- LEVEL 2 UNARMED LICENSE
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must have reliable transportation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as events require
- Security experience is preferred but not required
