Job Title: Forklift Operator
Must be located in the greater Phoenix area. This position is near Litchfield Park.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a lift truck (primarily Sit-Down Forklifts) to move, stack, unload materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to load and unload materials.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including checking for damaged goods and verifying quantities.
- Utilize order picking systems to accurately fulfill orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in the warehouse.
- Other tasks around the warehouse as needed.
Required Experience:
- Proof of current and valid Forklift Operator Certification.
- Must have 3+ years experience safely operating a forklift.
- Knowledge of mechanical principles and basic math skills.
- Familiarity with different types of forklifts, particularly sit-down forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
