Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bus Driver to join our transportation team. The bus driver will be responsible for safely transporting passengers on established jobs and routes. The ideal candidate must have experience in bus driving, particularly with coach buses and shuttle buses, and possess strong communication skills.
Duties:
- Safely operate a bus following a set schedule and route
- Ensure the safety of passengers boarding and exiting the bus
- Communicate effectively with passengers and address any concerns or inquiries
- Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Assist passengers with special needs or disabilities as required
- Keep accurate records of passenger counts and fares collected
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bus driving, preferably with coach buses and shuttle buses.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of basic mechanical operations related to buses
- Valid CDL license, Class B, with passenger endorsement and a clean driving record
