Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a fresh and welcoming environment
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, polishing floors, and disinfecting surfaces
- Perform detailed floor care tasks including carpet cleaning, tile scrubbing, and floor waxing to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and continued guest satisfaction
- Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate equipment and eco-friendly products to maximize efficiency and sustainability
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to maintain overall facility excellence
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or sanitation roles within hotels or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, upholstery cleaning, and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and carpet extractors
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying areas needing extra care
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving heavy items safely
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required
