Custom AV LLC is a locally-owned company specializing in the design and installation of incredible home theaters, home automation, and custom audio/video and control systems in fine homes and commercial environments.
Custom A/V LLC is a leader in the residential audio/video and integration industry. We are located in El Paso, TX currently seeking highly motivated, experienced individuals to fill our Installation Technician positions. We are a rapidly growing company, come and join our team!
Candidates should have experience, knowledge, and/or background in the following:
- One to two years experience as a technician Installing and configuring high-end audio, video, security systems, network, and/or home automation systems, pulling low-voltage cabling
- Control Certifications are preferred but not a requirement
- Moderate understanding of signal flow and control systems for distributed audio, video, and home theater systems
- Using hand and power tools to complete extending and terminations of cables and coaxial cables, as well as the installation of equipment racks, speakers, displays, and security devices
- Network installation and configuration experience is a plus
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problem installations at both system and component levels
- Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new construction and retrofit residential projects
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, blueprints, and create proposals
- A strong work ethic with a dedication to learning

Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License, social security card and/or birth certificate
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be able to accurately keep track of time and materials following company standards
- All candidates are subject to a complete background check

- Salary shall be based on level of experience
- Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:
- Climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching above the shoulder and kneeling to perform, walking, standing and sitting for extended periods of time, pushing, pulling or lifting equipment and supplies occasionally weighing up to 30lbs.
- Exposure to dirt, toxic materials, air contaminants, extreme temperatures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience:
- Audio/Video: 2 years (Preferred)
- Control Systems: 1 year (Preferred)
License:
- Driver's License
- Security License(Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
