Responsibilities
- Administer IV vitamin and hydration infusions following established protocols and safety standards
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, medical history, and current health status
- Prepare and maintain sterile environments using aseptic technique for all infusion procedures
- Educate patients on infusion treatments, potential side effects, and post-care instructions
- Monitor patients throughout the infusion process, promptly addressing any adverse reactions or complications
- Document all procedures accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Provide mobile services to clients.
Skills
- Proven experience with IV insertion
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to infusion therapy
- Critical care or emergency medicine experience
- Ability to perform patient assessments and vital sign monitoring accurately
- Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic technique to prevent contamination during procedures
- Skilled in patient education regarding IV hydration, IV vitamin administration, and lifestyle modifications
