Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and other culinary tools.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with meal prep, plating, and presentation to meet the restaurant’s visual standards.
- Support the team during busy service hours by managing multiple orders quickly and accurately.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, knife skills, slicing techniques, and equipment use.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of orders.
Skills
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant or catering environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food preparation methods.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining flexibility for special requests or dietary needs.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen setting.
