Job Summary:
The Procurement Specialist supports the overall Supply Chain through PO management, inventory reviews, and logistics support. Due to the small company environment, the candidate is expected to perform many different tasks within the Supply Chain department.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the creation and administration of all components purchase orders
· Oversees component inventory levels and makes purchase requisitions to management
· Issues purchase orders for components in ERP system, updates purchase orders as needed to reflect accurate pricing and delivery, receives purchase orders into appropriate locations
· Supports forecast process by generating approved documents and communicating requirements to various suppliers
· Provides logistics support as needed.
· Arranges for pickup and delivery of Quality samples
· Supports other logistics across all product lines
· Prepares, reviews, and assembles appropriate documentation for shipments
· Ensures that appropriate procedures are established and/or followed to support Supply Chain processes
· Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Knowledge in ERP systems, Netsuite preferred
· Self-starter with minimum supervision needed
· Willingness to learn
· Proven ability to deliver results in an unstructured, fast paced environment
· Must be fluent in English
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Operations, Management Materials Management, Science, or field related to the products being developed preferred
· Experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
