Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals across the lifespan. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations, with experience in ADOS testing and autism evaluations
- Diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy and counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care
- Track and assess patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Collect and analyze data; participate in research efforts that support best practices in psychology
- Offer education, guidance, and support to patients and families regarding mental health needs
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and interdisciplinary conferences
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of psychological theories, principles, and evidence-based practices
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum
- Proficiency in child and family counseling
- Excellent documentation skills with a commitment to confidentiality
- Skilled in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT and psychodynamic therapy
- Competence in data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Experience leading group therapy sessions
- Familiarity with clinical or hospital-based settings
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively
- Knowledge of special education practices is preferred
