Job Summary
Stonebreaker Hotel is seeking a dynamic and energetic Operations Manager to lead our hotel operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will report directly to the General Manager and oversee daily management activities, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and drive team performance. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining high standards of service, managing staff, and optimizing operational efficiency to support our continued success.
Duties
- Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food service, laundry and maintenance, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee financial activities such as budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Implement effective sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and customer service protocols to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue growth.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions and ongoing training programs to promote professional development.
- Monitor store management functions including pricing strategies, retail math calculations, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, and retail sales management.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail or hospitality environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll administration, bookkeeping, inventory management, M3, invoicing and customer service.
- At least three (3) years of demonstrated leadership experience in a full-service hotel or similar hospitality environment, retail sales management, store management, shift supervision, merchandising, stocking, and marketing initiatives.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently using time management techniques.
- Experience with POS systems, retail math calculations, pricing strategies, cash handling procedures, and retail store operations.
