We are looking for a responsible front end clerk to join our growing team. The Pharmacy clerk is responsible for all patient-facing pharmacy operations. They are accountable for the hanging completed medication bags up in their correct locations and placing over-the-counter items out in the front of the store.
Responsibilities
- Verify patients names and dates of birth before giving them their medications
- Assists in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the store
- Maintains front end inventory and supplies
- Maintains cleanliness of pharmacy, including shelves, bins, and equipment
- Communicates with customers, visitors, and colleagues in a professional manner
- Performs other tasks as assigned by management
- Occasional medication deliveries to patient homes
Experience Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and management; ability to follow instructions correctly; ability to work cooperatively in a team environment; ability to work under pressure
