Job Title: Press Operator

Position Summary:
The Press Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining large metal stamping presses used in the production of precision parts. This role ensures safe, efficient, and accurate operation of the press equipment while meeting quality standards and production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Press Operation:
- Set up, operate, and monitor metal stamping presses according to production specifications.
- Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment for stamping operations.
- Quality Control:
- Perform in-process checks to verify part dimensions and quality.
- Identify and report any defects or irregularities immediately.
- Safety & Maintenance:
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of press equipment.
- Report mechanical issues promptly to maintenance team.
- Documentation:
- Record production data, including quantities, downtime, and quality checks.
- Complete required logs and inspection reports accurately.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with Quality Inspectors and Production Supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Communicate effectively about production status and any issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Experience:
- 1–3 years operating metal stamping presses or similar machinery preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards.
- Skills:
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.50 per hour
