Qualifications:
- Must possess a BCBA/BCBA-D/BCaBA
- Must Posess an MA/MS in Psychology, ABA, Social Work, Education, Sociology, Physical Medicine, Speech Language Pathology, or a related field. (BCaBA with BA/BS will be considered).
- Must pass background check.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a human services role working with individuals with special needs preferred.
- Experience working with adult populations highly preferred

Description: The Behavior Consultant conducts comprehensive behavioral assessments, identifies client needs, develops individualized treatment goals and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and ensures the effective implementation of evidence-based interventions. This role is responsible for monitoring client progress, evaluating program effectiveness, maintaining accurate documentation, and preparing professional reports.
Key responsibilities include providing clinical supervision and coaching to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and direct support staff, developing and overseeing data collection systems, conducting quality assurance activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, payer requirements, and professional standards. The Behavior Consultant also delivers training and consultation to families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote consistent implementation of behavior support strategies across settings.
This position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of life and independence of adults with developmental disabilities through person-centered, evidence-based behavioral services.
Schedule: Varies. Average of 65-85 hours per month, depending on caseload size and service area. Possibility of growth into a full-time position if desired.
Compensation: $55-78/hr DOE
