Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join ourExcavation and Demolition business. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks and trailers, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate diverse driving conditions.
Duties
- Operate semi trucks with various trailers including dump trailers up to 40', low boy for hauling large equipment, and flatbed.
- Load and unload dump materials and heavy equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate records of daily jobs, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and show up on time for all assigned projects.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with various trailer types- primarily dump trailers and lowboys.
- Strong communication skills and desire to participate in a team environment to get jobs completed on time and on budget.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.

Pay: $275.00 - $325.00 per day
