SCHEDULE:
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE THAT CAN WORK NIGHT SHIFTS AT OUR OAKLAND LOCATION. WEEKENDS ARE A MUST! THE SCHEDULE IS 4PM-12AM.
Must be able to work a minimum of 4 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients with precision.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, and food processors.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools to meet health standards.
- Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours.
- Follow food safety protocols for handling, storage, and sanitation to prevent contamination.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal production and uphold quality consistency.
Skills
- Experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide or restaurant cook is highly desirable.
- Strong knife skills with proper slicing techniques for efficient prep work.
- Knowledge of food safety management and adherence to safety standards in production environments.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining flexibility for special requests or dietary needs.
- Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
- Previous catering or food service experience that demonstrates reliability and teamwork.
