MVA Services, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Field Service Technician.
We are seeking individuals with ten to fifteen years experience in assembling, vacuum filling, commissioning new transformers, as well as transformer repairs, hot oil reclamation and degassing of oil filled transformers. The position will require travel to customer locations nationwide to perform service work.
Responsibilities include:
- Safety Compliance
- Client Communication
- Transformer Installation and Repair
Qualifications:
- OSHA 30 Hour
- Strong Transformer Oil Processing and Vacuum Filling knowledge
- Transformer Assembly and Re-gasketing
- Electrical Testing including: Doble, SFRA, CT Testing, TTR and Insulation Resistance
- Transformer Repairs
- Ability to read blueprints and nameplate data
- Forklift, manlift and rigging certification
- Strong communication skills
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel
Additional Qualifications (Plus):
- 765 kV EHV work experience
- Energized Hot Oil Reclamation processing
- Class A CDL
- Knowledge of Load Tap Changer Repairs
- Crane Certification
