Duties
- Operate various types of heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, data entry into inventory management software, and maintaining the integrity of warehouse management systems
- Perform picking and packing of orders with precision using order picker equipment while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Assist in shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipment details, preparing items for dispatch, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and material handling to support warehouse operations while following safety regulations and PPE use guidelines.
- Support warehouse stocking activities by organizing materials on shelves or pallets using mechanical knowledge and inventory management best practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following safety procedures, conducting routine inspections of equipment like mechanical lifts or material handling tools, and adhering to safety protocol standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach, pallet jacks, or order pickers.
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, inventory management, and materials handling.
- Familiarity with warehouse management
- Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use during all warehouse activities.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, or packaging requirements.
- Prior experience in warehouse
Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
