Step into the world of publishing through a writing-focused opportunity designed for emerging storytellers and aspiring authors. This opportunity centers on developing your voice, refining your craft, and creating real opportunities for your work to be reviewed—and published. As a writer, you’ll contribute original content while learning how ideas evolve into polished, publication-ready pieces. You may bring previously written work to develop and submit, or start fresh projects during the opportunity with the goal of publication. This is a unique chance to build a professional portfolio, strengthen your writing skills, and see your work reach real audiences.
Responsibilities
Create original written content across a variety of formats, including articles, short stories, and promotional copy, with opportunities for publication.
Revise and refine both new and existing pieces based on editorial feedback to meet professional publishing standards.
Submit current or previously written work for review and potential publication, or develop new pieces.
Participate in peer review and collaborative editing sessions to strengthen writing and critical analysis skills.
Research topics, genres, and audience trends to inform compelling and relevant writing projects.
Work closely with editors and mentors to shape pieces from draft to publication-ready form.
Maintain organized drafts and track submissions for potential publication.
Experience
Strong writing skills with a clear voice and attention to detail.
A genuine interest in storytelling and a desire to see your work published.
Openness to feedback and willingness to revise and improve both new and existing work.
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote setting.
Familiarity with basic digital tools and writing platforms is a plus.
