Work Schedule
This position is designated for a 3rd shift schedule; candidates must be willing and able to work the assigned hours. Overtime will be based off business needs.
Position Summary
Creating CNC toolpaths from cad designs using appropriate CAM software. Setup and operate the CNC equipment per the toolpaths that were previously created. Machine details to CAD or detail print targeting CAD zero.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create toolpath programs with appropriate CAM software.
- Setup details and tooling required in relationship to the programs.
- Inspect details prior to coming out of the machine to verify they are correct to the design and the Color Code Tolerance Sheet.
- Coordinate timing with CNC Leader.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Participates in overall machining efficiency improvement efforts and waste reduction practices.
- Maintain safety standards in the workplace.
- Ensure Quality in the workplace.
- Assist in general machine maintenance and preventative maintenance as required.
Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. An employee must have their own toolbox and necessary tools needed to perform this job. (The CNC Leader can instruct you on what tools are necessary to have.)
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 3+ Years of CAD/CAM programming
- 3+ years of working knowledge of CNC machines
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance; Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming,
