Position Summary:
We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated operator for the Prima Power Express Bender. This position loads, bends, and unloads sheet metal parts to meet production needs. Operator must have sheet metal folding machine experience. Prima Power equipment training will be provided by Hipower.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Safely and consistently operate assigned equipment and machines.
· Fold raw sheet metal parts to meet blueprints specification.
· Properly mark finished product with the proper part number per their work orders.
· Load and unload parts to and press tables.
· Keep clean work area
· Ability to read work orders, identify and solve problems as required
· Contribute to the maintenance of the Quality Management System through the correct execution of its functions and/or activities.
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
· Other job-related duties as assigned.
Competence, Skills, and Abilities:
· High school diploma or equivalent, required
· 1 year or more demonstrated experience in folding machine, required
· Operator must be able to use calipers, tape measure, and protractor to ensure formed parts meet requirements.
· Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount.
· Must be able to follow verbal and written work instructions/procedures.
· Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.
· Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Bilingual () preferred.

· Required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time; frequently move around workstation/area and production floor, using PPE all the time; position self to access different areas and angles of the product being assembled, to include stooping, bending, and crouching.
· Required use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
· Frequently use hands and fingers, to handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms to operate equipment and install components or move parts/equipment.
· Lifts, pushes/pulls, carries, or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis without assistance. May have to move object from one location to another.
· Visual acuity is necessary to do the job safely and effectively. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision work to perform inspections and in reading schematics, peripheral, profundity, blueprints, and instructions.
Work Environment:
· This position works in a non-air-conditioned warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and some exposure to dust, fumes, and gases.
