Job Summary

Duties
- Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning to maintain the aesthetic appeal of lawns and gardens
- Identify different plant species and assess their health for proper care or removal
- Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal watering practices
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, aerating, fertilizing, and other landscaping tasks
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during outdoor work activities
- Support tree trimming and shrub pruning projects to promote healthy growth and landscape design
Requirements
- Prior outdoor work experience or a strong interest in groundskeeping and landscaping
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques and plant identification skills
- Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery such as mowers, edgers, trimmers, and irrigation systems
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and pesticide management practices (certification is a plus)
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols at all times
