Position Summary:
Under general supervision, to help support and grow our business. Metals industrial experience with a proven record of accomplishment of successful new business development is highly preferred.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title:

New account development and prospecting

Increasing share at existing accounts

New product introduction

Effectively communicate EMS’ distinct proficiencies

Margin improvement initiatives

Suggestions for adding new inventory items

Prepare and present pricing and proposals to customers

Maintaining computer records as to customers volume, usage and competitive feedback

Effective time and territory management for traveling
Qualifications:
-
Clean driving record free of DWI's or other major convictions such as careless and reckless driving, hit and run, etc. over the past 5 years is necessary!

Must be willing to sign our standard non-compete agreement.

Four year college degree is preferred

Prior outside sales experience is required

Ability to organize, plan and prioritize duties: Detail oriented

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong math skills are required
