Job Summary
Location: Willis, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm
Patient Population: Adult Patient
Specialized Care: Tracheostomy and Gastrostomy Tube (G-Tube)
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for an adult patient with a tracheostomy and gastrostomy tube. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care in the patient's home while promoting comfort, safety, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care according to the physician's plan of care.
- Assess and monitor the patient's condition, vital signs, and respiratory status.
- Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management as needed.
- Administer medications, treatments, and enteral feedings via G-tube.
- Monitor and maintain G-tube function and site integrity.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with family members, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Ensure patient safety and infection control standards are followed at all times.
- Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Current Texas LVN license in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Experience with tracheostomy and G-tube care preferred.
- Pediatric or adult private duty nursing experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a home care setting.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
