Behavior Technicians and teaching assistants to provide behavioral and or academic support to preschool studenst with developmental disabilities in preschool and daycare settings.
Candidates must be willing to play on the floor, be animated and active with young children. Experience with children with special needs encouraged, experience using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA/VB) with students with Autism/ developmental disabilities is preferred but training is provided.
Pay rates based on experience level. Must be willing to travel to designated areas and work the hours designated.
Positions and Hours available:
Preschool support for Preschooler with Special Needs in Special needs Preschool: Position available in Lansdale on Monday through Friday morning 9:00am -2:15pm during preschool class time.
Preschool support for Preschooler with Special Needs: Position available in Harboro Mon- Friday 3 hours per day 9:00-12 or 9:00-1:00
Preschool Support staff for mobility needs 8:00-1:00 Springhouse area . Must be comfortable supporting children with daily self care.
Other combinations of hours and locations are available around Montgomery County in preschool settings.
For all positions individuals must have current child abuse clearances, PA criminal record check and FBI fingerprints from department of ed as well as current CPR and first aide prior to starting position. A one time TB test is also needed prior to start. A mandated reporter training is also required if not already completed.
Positions is great for college students pursuing education or special education or in the psychology field. Interships can be provided if needed. BCBA supervision is also provided to those candidates who may be pursuing their BCBA certification.
