The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a Level 1 Teaching Assistant Special Education position.
The successful candidate will perform the following:
- Engage with colleagues during staff training and learning opportunities
- Provide behavioral interventions as determined by BIPs
- Collect and input data collection for BIPs Support whole group, small group, and 1:1 instruction
- Work as a contributing member of a team
- Utilize appropriate behavior management techniques
- Perform all responsibilities in a manner that guarantees the safety of our students
- Assist in the arrival and dismissal of students
- Support the delivery of instruction using district-wide curriculum
Job Qualifications
NYS Certification is required at time of application
