Strides OT is a pediatric therapy practice dedicated to helping children build confidence and independence through individualized, play-based therapy.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our pediatric therapy team. The SLP will evaluate and treat children with a variety of communication, speech, language, feeding, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate is engaging, family-centered, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients (birth through adolescence) with speech, language, social communication, and feeding/swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide play-based, functional therapy tailored to each child’s needs
- Educate and coach caregivers on strategies to support progress at home
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, and other professionals
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive therapy environment
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license (or eligible for licensure)
- Experience in pediatrics preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with children and families
- Knowledge of AAC (augmentative and alternative communication)
- Experience with feeding and oral-motor therapy
Pay: $48.00 - $55.00 per hour
