Experienced Dog Groomer needed to join our Grooming team. Must have a passion for animals and talent for Grooming. In this energetic role, you'll provide expert Grooming services (and Exit Baths for our Boarding dogs) - ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Skills in customer service preferred.
Must have own grooming tools. All other products provided.
This is a percentage paid position - the $25 hourly is not the pay.

Responsibilities
- Perform professional Grooming services including Bathing, brushing, scissoring, trimming, and styling to meet each clients specific requests or breed standards
- Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures
- Assess each dog’s health condition, noting any abnormalities or concerns that may require veterinary attention or special care
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and grooming work area to uphold hygiene standards and prevent the spread of infections
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with owners about grooming preferences, aftercare instructions, and pet behavior
- Assist with pet handling during appointments, ensuring a calm environment that reduces stress for animals
- Support other team members when needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Experienced dog groomer with a strong understanding of dog handling techniques. (Portfolio helpful)
- Knowledge of animal care practices, including animal restraint
- Ability to lift heavy objects such as grooming equipment or large dogs safely and comfortably
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly approach to customer service and pet owner interactions
- Prior animal handling background enhances your ability to work confidently with multiple animals simultaneously and in a team environment
