Provide secretarial and clerical support for the department and faculty of Media Arts. Serve as primary contact for the department. Greet and assist students and visitors in person and on the telephone; schedule tours and arrange meetings for prospective students; follow through with all processes for visitors and newly admitted students. Receive student forms (including drop/add, independent study, practicum, and internship) to be processed and filed. Manage paperwork for approximately 75 student workers and all related processes. Guide the scholarship processes every spring. Assist with special events and/or arrangements for departmental events; perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.
High School diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) required.
Four years progressively responsible secretarial/clerical experience.
Note: An Associate's degree (two years of college coursework) and two years related experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience may be considered in lieu of work experience.
Prefer experience in an academic setting.
CAP/CPS preferred.
