Overview
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. We are a rural Fedex ground contractor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner while adhering to delivery schedules. All routes are rural areas averaging 350-400 miles a day. You will dispatch out of the Bismarck terminal daily. You’ll day will be complete when you finish all deliveries for the day. Average day is 10 hours depending on the route. Work week is Monday Thursday Friday and Saturday. Tuesday and Wednesday usually off.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles such as vans safely
-Must be comfortable driving on rural gravel roads
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Requirements
-Must be 21 Years or older
-Must pass a background check and drug screening. Can not have any felonies.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to handle heavy lifting
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation apps
- Courteous and professional demeanor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
