District Operations Manager
We are seeking a District Operations Manager to lead field operations across an assigned territory. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, outstanding customer service, and the successful execution of daily operations.
As the District Operations Manager, you'll oversee supervisors (where applicable) and a remote workforce of full-time and part-time field employees. You'll play a key role in recruiting, developing talent, maintaining client relationships, and driving operational performance across multiple locations.

Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of an assigned district.
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train field employees.
- Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure consistent service coverage.
- Respond to employee call-outs and coordinate operational coverage.
- Conduct routine site visits, quality audits, and operational inspections.
- Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable through performance management.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while resolving customer concerns.
- Oversee payroll, timekeeping, attendance, and labor management.
- Monitor labor costs and district operating expenses.
- Coordinate the launch of new client locations, including staffing and operational readiness.
- Manage inventory, equipment, and field supplies.
- Handle employee relations and workers' compensation matters.
- Provide hands-on operational support as needed.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory and provide after-hours operational support when necessary.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of operations management or leadership experience.
- Experience managing remote or geographically dispersed hourly workforces.
- Multi-site operations experience preferred.
- Strong recruiting, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Team-oriented leader who builds trust, accountability, and engagement.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as business needs require.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors, walk large properties, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform the physical aspects of the role.
