Duties
- Lead and supervise restoration projects involving water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, and biohazard cleanup to ensure timely and effective completion
- Assess job sites thoroughly to determine scope of work, safety hazards, and necessary tools or materials
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for cleaning, demolition, and restoration tasks
- Perform detailed cleaning procedures including carpet cleaning, surface sanitation, and debris removal using industry-standard techniques
- Conduct asbestos abatement procedures when required, following all safety regulations and protocols
- Coordinate with team members to ensure proper use of construction materials and adherence to project timelines
- Document job progress through detailed reports and communicate effectively with clients and management throughout each project
Requirements
- Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation, or biohazard cleanup
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Familiarity with restoration processes such as carpet cleaning, asbestos abatement, and biohazard handling
- Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in assessing damages and safety hazards
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles as needed
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy equipment or materials and working in confined spaces
