We are seeking a Level 2 Electro-Mechanical Engineer. We are particularly interested in candidates with lithium-ion experience and a working knowledge of battery systems. Strong candidates will have a demonstrated history of project ownership, personal technical growth, and prototype/product development.
As a Level 2 Electro-Mechanical Engineer at FLE, you will:
· Design, build, and test electro-mechanical battery systems
· Convert test results and analysis into action
· Coordinate battery prototype construction and validation
· Support and coordinate collaborations with partner firms to design new battery systems
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or materials science
· 3-5+ years of experience
· Lithium-ion cell testing experience
· Strong understanding of lithium-ion cell fundamentals
· Experience working with lithium-ion batteries
· Troubleshooting mindset
· Demonstrated ability to communicate testing results
· Ability to self-identify and fill knowledge gaps
U.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent residence is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
