Job Description: Student Director (Part-Time)
Role Overview We are seeking a relational and adaptable leader to support our Student Ministry. This role focuses on leading our mid-week service and fostering a sense of belonging for our student body, which includes Creole, Russian, Thai, Spanish, English-speaking, and Caribbean communities. The goal is to provide a consistent spiritual anchor on Wednesday nights and build bridges with families during Sunday morning services.
Core Responsibilities
- Wednesday Night Leadership: Oversee the weekly student service (Setup, Lesson, and Small Groups).
- Sunday Connection: Attend Sunday morning service to engage with students and parents, ensuring the students remain integrated into the broader church family.
- Relational Discipleship: Build authentic relationships with students through consistent check-ins and mentorship.
- Volunteer Coordination: Support and communicate with adult volunteers to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- Spiritual Leadership: A committed faith with the ability to teach and apply biblical truths to teenage life.
- Reliability: Consistency in attendance for both Wednesday and Sunday responsibilities.
- Communication: Ability to coordinate with leadership and keep parents informed.
- Clearance: Ability to pass a background check.
Schedule & Compensation
- Time Commitment: Approximately 10–12 hours per week.
- Wednesdays: Service leadership and prep.
- Sundays: Service attendance and community engagement.
- Compensation: Based on Experience
Pay: $150.00 per week
