Overview
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Operator I to join our manufacturing team. This position operates CNC lathes and/or mills with minimal supervision to produce quality machined parts while meeting production and safety standards.
Duties
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and apply measurements, fractions, percentages, ratios, geometry, and trigonometry to practical situations.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to consistently meet production goals for quality and quantity.
- Dependable and reliable with strong attendance.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime when required.
- Possess or be willing to obtain the hand tools needed for daily work.
Skills

- One year of related manufacturing, machining, or CNC experience, training, or technical education.
- Experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills.
- Familiarity with CNC controls.
- Ability to read part prints, drawings, or machining work orders.
- Experience using inspection tools and measuring gages.
- Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills in a manufacturing environment.
- Forklift experience or current forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to occasionally squat, kneel, bend, twist, push, pull, and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to work around metal chips, oils, cutting fluids, and moving machinery while following appropriate safety procedures.
- May be required to move or transfer materials using an overhead crane, pallet jack, and/or forklift when trained and authorized.
- Must have adequate visual acuity, including close and distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and ability to focus.
