Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient prep
- Maintain food safety
- Support food service operations by plating dishes promptly and accurately for service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and exceptional service delivery
Requirements
- Experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, with a focus on food preparation and cooking
- Strong knife skills and slicing techniques
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety management systems and safety standards in production environments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of meal preparation, catering, and serving procedures
- Prior kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
