Duties
- Manage a portfolio of collections accounts, proactively reaching out to clients via phone and email to facilitate timely payments.
- Conduct debt collection negotiations with tact and professionalism
- Reconcile accounts receivable records regularly, ensuring accuracy in debits & credits, account analysis, and account reconciliation processes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all client communications, payment arrangements, and collection activities
· Approve orders in accordance with established credit limits and procedures.
- Manage the credit application process including contacting references by phone and e-mail and recording responses
- Applying to Factors for customer credit lines
- Facilitate collection of proper tax forms from clients
- Contact supplier to follow-up on shipments and obtain tracking and proof of delivery when needed
- Record customer payments in ERP system (Oracle)
Skills
- Proven experience in debt collection, or accounts receivable management
- Strong phone etiquette combined with excellent client communication skills to foster positive relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and neatness in handling information and performing account reconciliation tasks
- Ability to learn ERP and Bank software
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to compute sales discounts and sales tax rates

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
