Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in clients and their pets upon arrival
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns
- Maintain accurate records of client information, medical history, and treatments
- Assist with medical collection, including processing payments and handling invoices
- Prepare examination rooms for appointments and maintain cleanliness throughout the clinic
- Assist with animal restraint during examinations and procedures
- Provide animal care, including feeding, walking, and monitoring behavior
- Assist with aseptic technique during medical procedures
- Perform animal husbandry tasks, such as grooming and bathing
Skills:
- Proficient in veterinary terminology and able to communicate effectively with clients and staff members
- Knowledge of dog handling techniques and experience in animal restraint
- Familiarity with medical collection processes, including processing payments and handling invoices
- Understanding of aseptic technique for maintaining a sterile environment during medical procedures
- Experience in animal care, including feeding, walking, and monitoring behavior
- Ability to perform animal catheterization under veterinary supervision
- Knowledge of dog training techniques for basic obedience commands
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care procedures and able to assist as needed
