This position's primary function is to provide donation processing and distribution for retail support, as needed, to the thrift shop operations. S/he is also responsible for receiving, sorting, pricing, and merchandizing donated items. S/he also ensures that the thrift store, donation department, and outdoor storage areas are orderly and well-stocked during shift. This a full-time position.
- Records and acknowledges donations accurately.
- Transfers processed goods to appropriate areas.
- Seeks opportunities to increase donations, sales and improve operations continually.
- Ensures that donations are handled in an efficient way, coordinating with driver/assistant manager and volunteers, as necessary.
- Has the ability to climb stairs, bend, crouch, and lift 50lbs and may require long periods of sitting and standing
- Must have the ability to interact in a professional manner with the general public.
Must have a high school diploma or GED, clean driving record, and be insurable by our carrier. Must pass a background check and drug testing.
