Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, testing, inspection, and repair work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This position works closely with engineers and production team members to support equipment setup, calibration, rework, quality testing, and continuous process improvement.
The ideal candidate can read technical documents, use electronic testing equipment, follow detailed operating procedures, and consistently meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, rework, and repair.
- Assemble components, subassemblies, and final assemblies according to specifications.
- Set up, arrange, and operate manufacturing equipment based on established instructions.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, product manuals, work instructions, and process documents.
- Identify required parts, fixtures, tools, and materials for assigned work.
- Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, vacuum pumps, and other testing tools.
- Perform inspections and functional tests to verify that products meet quality specifications.
- Identify defects, errors, or process issues and complete appropriate corrections.
- Work with engineers on equipment setup, calibration, testing, and manufacturing improvements.
- Assist with developing or improving manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Cross-train on multiple assemblies, processes, and inspection methods.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Follow cleanroom procedures, safety standards, and company policies.
- Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience in a cleanroom environment is required.
- Experience with electro-mechanical assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or repair is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand operating procedures, schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, test fixtures, and electronic measurement equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict production deadlines with supervision.
- Willingness to cross-train and support different assembly and inspection processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
- This is an ITAR-regulated facility. Applicants must be authorized to work with ITAR-controlled materials as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
This is a physically demanding position. Team members may be required to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Work in tight or confined spaces.
- Bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, and climb stairs or ladders.
- Lift and move materials and equipment.
- Distinguish between colors.
- Work in an environment with elevated noise levels.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.
- Drive or operate forklifts or other machinery when trained and authorized.
Because this position may involve cleanroom work, employees may be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.

Our Austin facility provides precision machining and mechanical assembly services for customers across multiple industries. Its capabilities include vertical milling, horizontal milling, and turning of aluminum, copper, composites, stainless steel, titanium, and high-alloy steel.
The facility specializes in high-mix, low-volume production and also provides subassembly, system integration, New Product Introduction, and cleanroom assembly services.
