We’re partnering with a respected healthcare organization in Watford City, North Dakota that is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to support children and adolescents in a community-focused clinical setting.

- Provide occupational therapy services for pediatric patients, including children and adolescents.
- Assess patients’ developmental, physical, sensory, emotional, cognitive, and functional needs.
- Create individualized treatment plans focused on improving independence in daily activities.
- Support patients with skills such as fine motor development, coordination, sensory integration, emotional regulation, self-care, play, writing, feeding, dressing, and social participation.
- Deliver therapy sessions designed to help children improve confidence, function, and participation at home, school, and in the community.
- Educate families and caregivers on strategies, adaptive techniques, and tools to support progress outside of therapy.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, educators, and other care team members.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Document patient care, progress, goals, and outcomes accurately and on time.
- Stay current on occupational therapy best practices, treatment techniques, and certification requirements.
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Successful completion of the NBCOT exam.
- Current or eligible Occupational Therapist license in North Dakota.
- 1+ year of occupational therapy experience preferred, ideally with pediatric patients.
- New graduates are welcome with a strong interest in pediatric therapy.
- Strong understanding of occupational therapy techniques, adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and treatment planning.
- Ability to build individualized care plans based on each patient’s needs.
- Strong communication, organization, documentation, and time management skills.
- Ability to work well with children, families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain it.
