We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to safety protocols. Duties
- Drive a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver products to designated locations.
- Load and unload items safely, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
- Assist with inventory management and organization within the warehouse.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of items as required during deliveries.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is essential.
- Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, including knowledge of loading/unloading procedures.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on communication and professionalism.
