Position Summary
The Tasting Room Attendant/Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, operating the point-of-sale system, maintaining a clean and welcoming tasting room environment, and preparing pizzas and other food offerings according to company standards. This position plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience while ensuring compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide knowledgeable information about products and offerings.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a friendly, professional manner.
- Guide guests through tastings and beverage selections.
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
Bartending & Beverage Service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Verify identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations.
- Monitor guest consumption and promote responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas.
- Restock beverages, garnishes, glassware, and supplies as needed.
Pizza Preparation & Food Service
- Prepare pizzas and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Assemble toppings, bake pizzas, and prepare orders for service.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Monitor food inventory and notify management when supplies are low.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, food preparation areas, and storage spaces.
Facility Maintenance
- Perform opening and closing duties.
- Clean and sanitize tasting room, bar, kitchen, restrooms, and customer areas.
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist with stocking inventory and receiving deliveries.
- Ensure the tasting room is clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Bartending, restaurant, brewery, winery, distillery, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Food preparation or kitchen experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required alcohol server certification and food handler certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
