We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various nursing specialties, but a focus on care for our residents
*Must be able to work nights 11p-7a FULL TIME. Potential for shift differential for night shift.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide acute pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with developmental disabilities.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor vital signs and perform necessary interventions to stabilize patients.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
- Utilize Athenahealth software for managing patient information and scheduling appointments.
- Participate in emergency response protocols as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of occupational health practices and protocols.
- Proficiency in ventilating techniques and respiratory support.
- Experience working in urgent care settings with diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with managing medical records effectively and securely.
- Ability to provide care in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
- Understanding of acute pain management techniques and interventions.
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Competence in using CT imaging technology as part of diagnostic procedures.
