About the Role
As a Field Surgical Instrument Technician, you will serve as a vital partner to healthcare facilities by ensuring surgical tools are restored to peak performance. You will operate from a specialized mobile unit to deliver high-quality maintenance and refurbishment, directly impacting patient safety and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities-
Execute precision repairs on surgical instrumentation, including sharpening, polishing, brazing, and realigning hinge points to ensure clinical readiness.

Perform comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI) to extend the lifecycle of critical medical equipment.

Manage administrative workflows by generating accurate work orders, invoices, and regulatory compliance reports to meet contractual standards.

Maintain the integrity of the mobile repair environment by adhering to strict DOT and organizational safety protocols.

Collaborate with hospital staff to facilitate on-site support, ensuring seamless service delivery across your assigned territory.

Uphold rigorous health and safety standards by utilizing proper protective equipment and conducting regular site safety observations.
Qualifications-
Proven mechanical aptitude with experience in precision hand-tool work or metal fabrication.
