POSITION SUMMARY
Goodale & Barbieri Company is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support employees and leaders across the organization. This role has a strong emphasis on recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development, along with employee relations and day-to-day HR operations.
THE PERSON WHO WILL THRIVE HERE
You are a self-starter who takes initiative and does not require close supervision to stay on track or move work forward. You are comfortable working independently, making sound decisions, and bringing forward solutions rather than waiting for direction.
You enjoy being visible and working directly with employees and managers. You are comfortable switching between recruiting, training, employee relations, and day-to-day HR needs. You ask thoughtful questions, identify issues quickly, and come prepared with recommendations and next steps.
Most importantly, you enjoy helping people learn and grow. You understand that strong training goes beyond providing information. You help managers and employees understand expectations, practice new skills, and apply what they have learned on the job.
