Job Summary
Join Hudson Pro Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine as an X-Ray Technician supporting our growing multi-specialty outpatient practices across the NY/NJ region. In this role, you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality imaging in a fast-paced outpatient setting, working closely with physicians and clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnosis while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures with a focus on orthopedic and musculoskeletal imaging.
- Prepare patients for imaging by explaining procedures, positioning them appropriately, and ensuring comfort throughout the exam.
- Follow established radiation safety protocols and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment in accordance with infection control policies.
- Review images for quality and accuracy; collaborate with providers to ensure diagnostic clarity.
- Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and technical details in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Support physicians and clinical staff across multiple specialties within an outpatient setting.
- Ensure proper operation, care, and maintenance of X-ray equipment.
Requirements
- Certification or licensure as a Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist; current NY/NJ state licenses required.
- Experience performing diagnostic X-ray procedures, preferably in an outpatient or orthopedic setting.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, medical terminology, and radiographic positioning techniques.
- Familiarity with radiation safety standards and infection control practices.
- Ability to operate X-ray equipment efficiently while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
Pay: $33.71 - $40.60 per hour
