Qualifications
1. Post secondary education in counseling, communication, education, anthropology, or a related field.
2. Proven ability to connect with and communicate with immigrant populations.
3. Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
4. A collaborative attitude and evidence of successfully working within a team structure
5. A high level of organization.
6. Ability to work with varied school and Oshkosh area communities.
7. Strong advocate and demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion with proven ability to work with a diverse student and workplace population.
Preferred
1. Bachelor’s degree in counseling, communication, education, anthropology, or a related field
2. Bilingual
3. Professional experience working with individuals with refugee backgrounds
4. Proven skill in working with an electronic student record-keeping database and Google Workplace applications; and a facility for mastering new software formats as needed.
5. Experience working with program coordinators, instructional academic staff, and students
6. Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
