About the Position
North Coast Nephrology is a well-established kidney care practice seeking a dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with patients managing chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and related conditions. Many of our patients remain under our care for years, allowing you to build meaningful relationships while making a lasting impact on their health and well-being.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred; experienced non-certified candidates will be considered
- Prior experience in a medical office required; nephrology, cardiology, or internal medicine experience is a plus
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably eClinicalWorks or Epic
- Strong attention to detail, including accurate blood pressure measurement and medication reconciliation
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work at both our Elyria and Amherst locations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
